This course provides students with the prospect of a craeer in the floristry industry. This course equips successful learners with the skills necessary for florists to style and create designs for the 21st Century.

The floristry course provides exciting but demanding career prospects for committed but enthusiastic individuals

course content
Practical floristry skills, theory, core skills and related retails skills.
IT skills related to floristry including the production of promotional materials and use of the internet, e-mails and business corresponence.

teaching & assessment methods
This course has no end of year examinations. Work is assessed throughout the year as part of the ongoing learning process. Assessments may be in the form of oral and written questions, assignments, practical work, logged activities, tutor observations and portfolio.
