Teaching Certificate in Exercise to Music or Gym Instructor SVQ Level 2
This is a short, enjoyable and intense course of theory and practical work for those with experience in exercise to music or resistance training in the gym. Underpinning knowledge is gained through independent study and includes anatomy and physiology theory which is assessed in College via a nationally set exam. This work is supported by a highly knowledgeable personal tutor who has relevant and current industry experience.

Practical teaching skills are learned in College one morning a week from March to June and assessed by an external assessor in a real life situation. As an Outreach Centre for Fitness Scotland, the National Governing Body for Health and Fitness, learners now benefit from the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised fitness qualification in a top quality fitness environment.

Further Study/Employment
Success on this course gives you access to the Register of Exercise Professionals and membership of Fitness Scotland. Move on to employment in the fitness industry or progress to further study in the workplace or at College.
