Course Description
This course follows on from the introductory course. You will cover further techniques in the production of wired sugar flowers. You will learn the production of various recipes of flower paste, advanced hand pulled flowers, cutter type plants and flowers, make various types of foliage for all seasons, show skills in building up many layers of petals, demonstrate skills in making plants and flowers in growing stages, demonstrate skills in making fruits, nuts and berries, climbing plants, show skills in making advance plant and flower centres and demonstrate skills in making grains. You will learn to develop specialist skills with practical experience during each session.
You will maintain a portfolio of work for presentation to an external examiner at the end of the year.
