Anyone with an interest in construction skills whether as a progression route to further study or just for DIY purposes

Course Content

You can study a minimum of two units from any of the skill areas including:

• Bricklaying
• Plastering / Wall & Floor Tiling
• Carpentry and Joinery
• Painting and Decorating
• Core Knowledge

A variety of different units are covered under each skill area.

Method of Assessment

A series of written and practical tasks

Progression

After completion of the first unit you can progress to the next unit in the skill series and then progress to any unit in any of the different skill areas. Each unit of study costs £15 registration and £70 tuition.

2 units NOCN Progression Award (Total cost £170)

7 units NOCN Progression Certificate (must include to units from Core Knowledge) (Total cost £595)

11 units NOCN Progression Diploma (must include 3 units for Core Knowledge) (Total cost £ 935)
