Passenger Assistant Training Scheme (PATS) applies to paid staff, volunteers and people performing the dual role of driver/carer.

The Passenger Assistant Training Scheme (PATS) course consists of:

  • Module A: Assisting passengers with disabilities (not wheelchair users)
  • Module B: Assisting wheelchair users
  • Module C1: Assisting children and young people
  • Module C2: Assisting older people
