PAT Testing

This qualification is designed for those who undertake the inspection and testing of Portable Appliance equipment and are required to interpret results, record findings and label equipment.

Two qualifications are available:

Competence for the Inspection and testing of Electircal Equipment 2377-22

Competence Management Requirements for the Maintenance of Electrical Equipment 2377-32

Candidates need basic electrical knowledge and are required to demonstrate practical ability to carry out tests and correctly record the results.
