History

Paul Cook Training is a leading UK training provider. Further to a successful four years working in the state school sector Paul Cook managed to assist hundreds of young people to achieve their GCSE's in schools in the North of England. Paul Cook the founder of the company has also provided further consultancy services for the Hull & Doncaster LEA's as well as provided further assistance establishing media training programs in various schools in the Yorkshire & Humberside region. Paul Cook has also worked closely with the Hull CC Youth Enterprise Department to establish and promote programs that assist young people in establishing their own media companies and successful ventures. Paul Cook is a supplier to the Hull City County Council. Paul Cook has been pro-active in Teacher Training for some years and he has worked on City & Guilds, Edexcel & NCFE courses in his career as an assessor and moderator of these courses.

The company is a Learner Registration Body (LRB) and further to the status has common centre approval from the organisation NCFE (Northern Council of Further Education) in the UK.

In 1981, the Northern Advisory Council for Further Education (NACFE), which was established in 1947 to co-ordinate further education provision throughout the nine LEAs, merged with the NCTEC to become the Northern Council for Further Education.

When the further education sector was incorporated (made independent of the government) in the early 1990s the company felt the old name was incompatible with our new national focus and has since then been identified simply as NCFE with the letters no longer being an acronym. PCt2U Virtually a College has had first class reports in the last few years from its awarding body NCFE and has attained DCS (Direct Claims Status) on its past PTLLS & CTLLS courses. And currently has DCS (Direct Claims Status) on its new courses AET - CET - DET - Assessors -
IQA established in 2014 including the new Diploma in Education and Training.

PCT2U Virtually a College was granted common center approval with the NCFE in 2010 primarily to deliver online and distance learning courses in-regards to Teacher Training courses such as PTLLS, CTLLS & DTLLS. As well as provide training in Quality Assurance with the new suite of assessors courses available and the higher programs such as the IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) routes again all delivered online and over distance.
