What I would highlight: I really enjoyed the course, it stretched and challenged me and I found it difficult at times but this was a good thing as it developed the gaps in my theory knowledge.
What could be improved: Nothing here.

What I would highlight: Paul Cook was very supportive and did understand the hindrances I could face doing this programme 8000 miles away from the UK. I was given every support and guidelines possible for Paul. I learned a lot from the course.
What could be improved: no issues.

What I would highlight:  A very different learning experience from what I’m used to, so was a bit of a steep learning curve to begin with. The course requires quite a high degree of self-motivation, which after researching different motivational theories can be quite difficult, especially when remote working, but I got there in the end. Thanks for all your support, patience and understanding.
What could be improved: Everything was spot on.

What I would highlight: I enjoyed the course very much. It has given me more confidence in myself to achieve what I can. The course was very good and it made me more aware of the need to progress in what we do to make the education of adults more rewarding for all involved. In places I found the course quite hard but it was very rewarding when I achieved what was required. I think that I have learnt a great deal by taking part in this course which will make me better and more professional in my career. Thank you very much to Paul and Susan for the extra help and advice they gave me throughout the course.
What could be improved: Nothing to say here.

What I would highlight: In-depth knowledge of the teaching standards. I found my tutor Paul to be very supportive and understanding. His depth of knowledge and understanding was excellent. Paul gave regular constructive feedback and issued smart guidelines and paths to pursue. I would recommend this course as I feel it is an excellent way to fast track ones career in to teaching.
What could be improved: Very intense. Only people who are very keen and very motivated can maintain this level of intense learning.

What I would highlight: Initially struggled with the concept of online learning, as it was the first time I had participated with this style of course. Although I now know what to expect from ‘distant learning’, I think my learning style indicates I may need more interaction time (over the phone is sufficient) with a tutor and this was provided via mentoring at pct2u. I know it is not designed for learners who require spoon feeding, but at times talking to someone just can’t be replaced for me.
What could be improved: There were times when things were really difficult to understand and explain, which meant things got lost in translation which caused friction - but 5 mins chat with a ‘human’ resolved this. All that said, I have learnt a lot about education, learners and myself and I am so glad I finished the course, as there were times when I wanted to ‘bail’.

What I would highlight: This course was very suitable for my needs, I was able to work it around my working hours, as currently I work a full time week. I did have a couple of obstacles at home during the time of my course, this did slow me down.
What could be improved: I did sometimes find the moodle system confusing, however with time this was fine. Overall it was a successful experience and I would consider online learning again.

What I would highlight: It is amazing how my tutor would answer no matter if it was 1am or 7am. Although it took me a while to get used to the online system, once I everything fell into place, I started enjoying this learning experience.
What could be improved: As my tutor would agree, I’m ‘to the point’ kinda guy, and sometimes felt that the answers could be condensed, but I understand that there are guidelines to follow and adhered to.

What I would highlight: It is the first time I completed a course via online. The Moodle platform was easy to use and gave me access to messaging my tutors or any member of the team whenever I had some doubts. The course content was comprehensive and in depth. Paul Cook Training is a leading UK training provider. Further to a successful four years working in the state school sector Paul Cook managed to assist hundreds of young people to achieve their GCSE's in schools in the North of England. Paul Cook the founder of the company has also provided further consultancy services for the Hull & Doncaster LEA's as well as provided further assistance establishing media training programs in various schools in the Yorkshire & Humberside region. Paul Cook has also worked closely with the Hull CC Youth Enterprise Department to establish and promote programs that assist young people in establishing their own media companies and successful ventures. Paul Cook is a supplier to the Hull City County Council. Paul Cook has been pro-active in Teacher Training for some years and he has worked on City & Guilds, Edexcel & NCFE courses in his career as an assessor and moderator of these courses.

The company is a Learner Registration Body (LRB) and further to the status has common centre approval from the organisation NCFE (Northern Council of Further Education) in the UK.

In 1981, the Northern Advisory Council for Further Education (NACFE), which was established in 1947 to co-ordinate further education provision throughout the nine LEAs, merged with the NCTEC to become the Northern Council for Further Education.

When the further education sector was incorporated (made independent of the government) in the early 1990s the company felt the old name was incompatible with our new national focus and has since then been identified simply as NCFE with the letters no longer being an acronym. I would highly recommend this course to anyone"!!

P Umphray - Leisure Centre Manager - London, UK.

My tutors response was prompt and precise. Excellent support given for my first remote learning training course.

K Watts, Secondary School Teacher, Dorset, UK.

"Thought it was a brilliant course and have already recommended it to others".

G Kennerley - Trainer, Cheshire, UK

Excellent course that was delivered professionally and wholly. I learnt much about teaching post-compulsory and I feel that each aspect of the course was designed with learning about the complete field of teaching rather than just focusing on a particular topic; this helped me to develop my broader knowledge of teaching.

The tutor was thorough in his explanations and feedback, and very motivating. His knowledge of the subject was at an expert level and he was always available for comments and questions. Thank you!

K Pancholi, Sixth Form, Chemistry Teacher, Leicester, UK.
