The purpose of this CME activity is to review commonly encountered conditions found among children and adolescents Preliminary Objectives for Activity:
At the conclusion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:
• Review causes of abdominal pain and appropriate evaluation
• Determine the best approach to gastrointestinal foreign bodies
• Review the current literature on hepatitis and treatment for children
• Determine appropriate evaluation for common GI problems in children
• Review the causes and treatment of neonatal jaundice
• Explore gastroesophageal reflux and its therapy
• Evaluate current treatment modalities for inflammatory bowel disease and its implications
