About this course

Previous manicure training is required to enroll on this course.

Although a beginner course, you are required to have completed previous Manicure training before enrolling on this course.

Once you have passed your course, you will receive a ULearn Diploma, which enables you to gain insurance and start offering this treatment to your clients.

She completed her NVQ in Beauty Therapy and is working towards her Assessor's Award and a Foundation Degree in management.

Course programme

Our Pedicure training course is the perfect compliment to the Manicure and Spa Manicure course and is essential if you want to pursue a career as a Beauty Therapist or Nail Technician. This Pedicure training course will provide an extension to what you have learned as a manicurist and give you a full knowledge of natural foot nail care, preparation for pedicure, lower leg massage and how to create a professional finish with polish. As with our manicure course, you will also gain the benefit of learning Spa pedicure, involving the application of hot oil and foot masks with paraffin wax and thermal booties to improve the appearance and condition of the skin and nails all year round. This course is also essential if you would like to follow the Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 2 or Nail Technician NVQ Level 2 route.

Additional information

Our short courses are ideal for anyone looking to start out in the beauty industry, whether that is working around your current job, children or to be able to maintain your own nails to a professional standard.

If you are interested in working in a salon, spa or hotel then we would recommend that you complete our NVQ in manicure which is accredited with VTCT, This will involve practical exams, creating a portfolio to showcase your work & knowledge. We will guide and support you throughout your qualification to ensure that you 'USucceed'.
