You will study for approximately 16 hours per week. Within the qualification you will study Classical and Contemporary Acting technique, Dance technique, Voice technique, Practitioner Masterclasses, Improvisation, Devising, Directing, Script-writing and Performing Arts Business before choosing your preferred specialised route in the second year of Acting, Dance, Musical Theatre or Theatre Production

Course programme
Alongside the qualification, the Performing Arts Study Programme will offer opportunities to gain work experience in a professional Theatre, perform in at least two large-scale productions a year, develop Acting to Camera Skills, attend Vocal Training sessions, develop specialised performance skills through workshops with Industry professionals, participate in workshops and auditions held at the College for Drama schools, learn Technical Theatre skills, and participate onstage and backstage in the Sundial Theatre Company. We also hope to embed LAMDA Speech and Drama exams and the Arts Award into our Programme for students to gain experience and extra UCAS points.
