About this Course
If you want to become a dancer or work in musical theatre, this course will teach you the basics to get you started on your dream career. Working within the Rotherham Academy, you will explore skills in acting, singing and dancing. You will learn about the history of musical theatre, dance styles, genre and the importance of musical theatre within the performing arts.
The musical theatre/dance pathway offers exciting challenges within a highly motivational working environment. Students must be ambitious, open to challenges, willing to learn and be passionate about the chosen pathway and course. This course is one year long.

What are the entry requirements?
Two GCSEs at grade D or above including English or a Level 1 qualification.
