This course if for anyone who wishes to gain a vocational qualification in Performing Arts as a step towards a career in the industry or a university application. It is ideal if you are straight from school or are a mature student with relevant qualifications or experience.

Course Content
On this course, you will study the National Diploma in Performing Arts plus Functional Skills in Communication (at the appropriate level) and an additional NCFE Level 1 qualification in Performance Skills. The course is made up of core units that everyone takes and specialist units. The specialists units enable you to study a particular area in more depth. The course aims to help students progress on to Higher Education. If you successfully complete a level 3 course at Skelmersdale & Ormskirk College we will offer you a place on an appropriate Foundation Degree at Newcastle College (subject to satisfactory interview or course audition).
