Duration :One year full time (36 weeks attendance Sept to July)
Who the Course is For:
Practical candidates who intend to pursue a career in either manufacturing, mechanical maintenance or installation and repair (Commercial or Domestic)
Assessment:
Continuous observation by the tutor. Completion of series of practical tasks. Tutor marked work books will be used to provide evidence of basic workshop theory Student produced portfolios will be assessed by the College and EAL (EMTA Awards Limited).
Course Leads To:
A possibility of full employment as an Apprentice studying for a NVQ Level 3 in Performing Engineering Operations or any other related trades. BTEC or VRQ Mechanical Engineering qualifications
