Age and gravity effects on our skin are offset by non-invasive HIFU treatment using the body’s own recuperative powers to lift the skin of the face, neck, under the chin, and décolleté, lift eyebrows and smooth wrinkles and lines! Would you like to learn everything about this safe and effective treatment? If the answer is yes, Emagister has the perfect course for you.
The Level 4 High Intensity Focused Ultrasound for Face and Neck will teach you how HIFU treats tissue otherwise only reached by surgery. HIFU, suitable for men and women, can go beneath the surface of the skin without breaking the outer skin and reach into the dermis and SMAS layer.
High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) energy is delivered deep beneath the skin at appropriate temperatures, at three separate chosen levels (4.5mm, 3.0mm and 1.5mm). This heat causes the formation of a series of thermal coagulation points at approximately 1mm cubed.
Temperatures between 60 – 70 degrees centigrade lead to collagen denaturation, leading collagen to quickly go about repairing itself. Visible changes, thanks to collagen remodelling, can be seen right after the treatment, while the full benefits will start to be seen three months after the treatment.
This is one of the most popular treatments in the industry as results can last from 1-2 years, leading HIFU to be known as the “non-surgical alternative to the face-lift”! Become a professional in this field, visit emagister.co.uk and ask for further information about this course!

About this course
This course qualifies you for CPD points and insurance cover. We cover core knowledge behind the treatment followed by extensive practical training to ensure that all our graduates are fully competent and can safely and effectively carry out HIFU treatments for Face and Neck.
Our courses are suitable for Beauty Therapists with the suitable pre-requisites (Level 3 Beauty or equivalent) and Aesthetic practitioners.
We expect students to have read the course materials fully prior to attending the onsite course at the Academy of Advanced Beauty.
In order to graduate from all of our courses, students will need to pass a final written examination to assess their knowledge and understanding, and to pass a practical observation performing the treatment in full, including client consultation and aftercare. For Level 4 courses, after having completed the practical session at the Academy, students will be asked to complete four case studies and a 5,000-word assignment in order to complete the course.
Our Level 4 course is based on core knowledge taught on the short course but in addition includes a substantial theory component which explores the science behind the treatment further, and comprises of a three-day practical training session (rather than two in the short course) where you will be asked to demonstrate your competence in the treatment through a series of assessments and exams
