Course programme
The Licensing Act of 2003 created an integrated system that regulates the sales and supply of alcohol, the provision of entertainment to the public and the provision of late night refreshment.
A personal licence holder must authorise all retail selling of alcohol and all premises must have a Designated Premises Supervisor, holding this licence.
Our qualifications meets the criteria as stipulated by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport and is widely recognized across the UK. Rio Training is an accredited training centre for NCFE and Edexcel.
Rio Training offers a one day instructor led course at regular dates throughout the UK as well as a self study option that equates to blended learning.
On a typical training day our candidates spend time with a trained NCPLH licensing practitioner. Candidates normally receive course notes early, if booking in advance for the course.
