Course review:

National statistics on the reporting of aggressive and violent incidents in the workplace has become an area of concern for many different types of industry and disciplines.

This TMVA Module 2 course date is specifically focused on working with adolescents including secondary schools, Universities and those working in other adolescent services. Course participants will learn how to respond appropriately in aggressive situations. It will enable them to look at the benefits of individual personal safety awareness when interacting with a potentially aggressive or violent individual and gives credible instruction on appropriate physical disengagement skills which promote best practice for both the receiver and the aggressor.

The Therapeutic Management of Violence and Aggression (TMVA) programme has been written and is regulated by the General Services Association (GSA).
