If you cannot spend the full 10 days in a secondary school prior to application we can still consider your application as long as you have spent 5 days in a secondary classroom. If you are successful in being offered a place on the course the additional 5 days would be a condition of your offer and would need to be undertaken prior to starting on the course. Course programme

The 11-18 PGCE Science courses are an innovative and intensive nine month course preparing graduates for the demands of teaching the 11-18 age range in the Secondary Sector, with a focus in one of the three separate science areas. You will be awarded a PGCE and recommended for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), enabling you to teach in schools. The course is organised in partnership with schools where you spend a total of 24 weeks teaching within the 36 week long course.
