Course programme
This course is intended as an introduction to the studio for those with a good understanding of basic photographic principles. We will familiarise ourselves with relevant equipment and gain a solid understanding of technical, practical, aesthetic and health and safety issues specific to studio imaging. This knowledge will be applied to the production of high quality still life and portrait images. We will undertake practice as a team, participants taking turns as photographer, model, assistant etc., to produce high quality portrait and still life images. Digital technologies will allow us to review and process images during shoots and to make decisions collectively.
