What will I learn?You will cover a wide range of topics around traditional and digital photography You will cover a variety of photographic materials, techniques and processes Additionally, contextual analysis is an important aspect to the course and development of practical and concepts so you will be introduced to a wide range of historical and contemporary artists, designers and photographers
How will I be assessed?You will have assignments set by the subject tutor and two externally set assignments in the form of question papers from the examining board Each of these must meet the criteria outlined in the four assessment objectives to which you will be introduced to on the course
What may it lead to?Foundation and Degree courses within Art & Design
Entry Requirements5x A* - C grades including English Language, Math and a creative subject (portfolios will be considered in the absence of a creative subject)
Additional Information & Other CostsYou will be expected to provide some of your own materials such as sketchbook and glues for your studies You will be expected to cover multiple trips to London (train or coach) or other areas of interest for enrichment activities There is also the opportunity for a European City visit to galleries and exhibitions offered
