Course Description
Digital Imaging - Photoshop CS3 is an introduction to using Photoshop to enhance and get the most from your digital images. This course is aimed at anyone with a digital camera and an interest in photography who wishes to alter, manipulate and become more creative with their own images as well as learning time saving techniques of applying the same actions to multiple files. This course will cover: introduction to digital photography; image adjustments - levels and curves; retouching; size and resolution; introduction to layers; selections; quick mask; cropping; black and white conversions; text; output; adjustment layers; blending modes; masks; actions; droplets; compositing; raw versus jpeg; and bit depth.

Preferred Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirements although an interest in Photography would be an advantage. Some basic computing skills required. Students are expected to have their own digital camera.
