Photography Summer School

Your Course
This 3 day course is aimed at all levels of photographers from from beginners to experienced but we do recommend that you complete a 'Basic' or 'Beginners' course in Photography before enrolling on this course. This will ensure that you have a good understanding of how to use your camera so that you get the most out of the location trips to Botanic Garden on the first day and London on the second day. The location trip will give you the opportunity to take photographs whilst being guided by the by the Photography tutor. Topics covered in the classroom and on location will include: subject matter, composition and techniques, light metering, lens choice and the use of filters.
Learning Outcomes
There will be opportunites on the course to review and critique your work and the work of others, use Adobe Photoshop (no previous experience necessary) to enhance, prepare and print your work using Professional A3 inkjet printers, inks and paper
· Students will need their own digital camera.
· Students will have to pay for their train fare.
Your Tutor
Tuuli Parker received a BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design/Photography. She has worked professionally within the industry both commercially and in teaching. Currently she works as a fine art photographer and is employed part-time at Hills Road Sixth Form College.

Method of payment: Fees for short courses (10 weeks or less) to be paid in full at enrolment and for long courses (12 weeks or more) fees of 50% can be paid at enrolment plus 50% as a cheque. Course places cannot be reserved without receipt of both payments.

Please note that there are no classes during half term Monday 15th - Friday 19th February 2010 unless otherwise stated.
