Course Overview

This course is offered at the School of Photography, Film and Television at Wiltshire College Salisbury. Based on over 40 years of experience in educating photographers and film-makers.

The two separate pathways of Stills Photography and Film/TV operate within a common structure covering the areas of Communication, Management and Creative Control of Production and Professional Environment. Through its extensive network of contacts, an environment is provided that simulates the real demands of the profession.

Students frequently work to professional commissions and are able to work with industry standard facilities which include five studios, a sound studio, B&W and colour processing laboratories, IT suite and video and film editing facilities, producing an exceptional record of competition successes both at national and international level. Students work with the latest digital imaging software, used alongside more traditional techniques for post-production work and this has further increased the opportunities for creative solutions to communication challenges.
