Physical Intervention Level 3 Instructor Training

This Level 3 Award for Delivery of Physical Intervention Training in the Private Security Industry has been developed for tutors wishing to teach physical intervention skills to level 2 candidates who are working or are wanting to work in the private security industry.

Delegates will already have completed a training qualification, for example a Level 3 Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS) along with a Level 3 in Conflict Management.

The Physical Intervention Level 3 Award is made up of two units.

1.
Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security Industry covers the knowledge and skills that the tutor will require to be able to train those wishing to work in the private security industry.

2.
Delivering Physical Intervention Training provides the tutor with the skills to teach and assess the practical skills safely.

Course Duration:
4 Days with home study/distance learning

Assessment:
Is a practical assessment throughout the course by the tutor, providing the learner with the skills to teach and assess the practical skills safely.
