Summary

This course provides the learner with knowledge, understanding and skills required to implement physical interventions. The purpose of "physical intervention" is to take immediate control of a dangerous situation, in order to end or significantly reduce the risk of harm to the person and others around them. Time is spent allowing learners to demonstrate in a practical way situations they may encounter.
