Playwork - Level 3 in Leamington Spa

Playworkers work with school age children (4-16) and plan activities and play opportunities to help them develop.

There are five mandatory units and six optional units. These are some of the units you would acquire:

• Contribute to an organisational framework that reflects the needs and protects the rights of children and young people
   
• Develop and maintain a healthy, safe and secure environment for children
   
• Develop and promote positve relationships
   
• Plan for and support self-directed play
   
• Reflect on and develop practice.

NVQs benefit both you and the organisation where you work. NVQs also raise the quality of service provided by the childcare staff. All the skills recognised and measured against National Standards.

NVQ learners are assessed on their performance in the work setting by qualified assessors from triangle. You will also be required to attend training sessions delivered by triangle. this will give you the relevant underpinning knowledge and understanding in Playwork.
