Course programme

You will be trained to meet industry standards and will cover all the required foundation skills, including domestic piping, the domestic water system, soldering and health and safety. The advanced course will further develop your knowledge and skills including more advanced and complex areas such as gas safety, pressurised hot water and water regulations. Part of this qualification will be assessed in the workplace to show your competence, knowledge and understanding of business tasks and procedures, and to prove you are able to carry out your job to the required standards. All of this will provide evidence towards a framework of qualifications which make up the apprenticeship.
