- Minimum Numeracy Level: Entry 2
You can read and understand short pieces of writing such as letters, messages, simple stories, timetables and adverts. You can write short pieces of writing - for example an email to a friend, a simple letter, a story or a message.
You can work with numbers, symbols, and simple diagrams. You can add and subtract simple numbers and use simple fractions. You can use money, tell the time, measure things and know about squares, triangles and rectangles.
What qualification will I receive?
City & Guilds 6029 NVQ Level 2 in Basic Plumbing.
Where can it lead?
City & Guilds 6029 NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing.
What will I study?
Health & Safety, Plumbing principles and processes, hot and cold water, sanitation, hot water heating and controls, lead weatherings, environmental studies and industrial relations.
How will I be taught?
A mix of practical and technical training.
How will I be assessed?
Competence and Portfolio of Evidence, including Work Based Observation.
