Course programme

There is a particular emphasis on football - students benefit from 3 hours of coaching each week by Plymouth Argyle FC community coaches and take part in weekly futsal and 11-a-side fixtures. PAFC also provide community coaching work placements and workshops in community coaching, nutrition, fitness, injury prevention and sports analysis.


The course also offers opportunities to take the FA Level 1 & 2 coaching awards.


5x GCSE at C or above, including English and/or Maths (preferably both)


You can progress onto a career in football development, community coaching, fitness, nutrition or injury prevention. You could also progress onto higher education - this course allows for up to 420 UCAS points - so you can consider a career as a PE teacher.
