PMC AND GLASS JEWELLERY

The aim of this course is to inform students of the possibilites when working with PMC and glass and how these two wonderful materials can be combined.

The first day will focus on glass, how to cut, assemble and fire your own glass cabachons. We will also introduce PMC which is silver ground into a fine powder, then mixed with an organic binder to make silver clay. You will be informed as to how you can combine glass and PMC before the first firing.

The second day we will use your glass cabachons and PMC to make completed jewellery pieces of your choice. PMC and glass are both exciting mediums and the two combined create endless possibilities.

You will leave the course equiped with the knowledge of both mediums, to continue and expand your knowledge.
