To provide Project Managers and other Project team members with an understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and in doing so prepare suitably experienced candidates with the necessary knowledge to take the PMP certification from the PMI. Suitable for: This course is designed for those wishing to pursue the PMI's PMP certification or for those simply wishing to gain a comprehensive understanding of project management best practice. In order to gain maximum benefit, delegates should have an understanding of the fundamentals of project management and be currently employed in a project role within an organisation.

Understanding and applying the PMBoK
The Project Management Professional (PMP®) is one of the world's most widely recognised and regarded qualifications accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI®). Achieving PMP status demonstrates a Project Management professional's ability to take a lead and competently deliver complex projects.

This course is fully aligned to the latest Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) and covers all the core areas covered within the PMP exam. It also satisfies the pre-requisite 35 hours of Project Management professional development (35 PDUs) required by the qualification criteria.

A practical, hands on course, the syllabus is covered in a variety of individual and group exercises. A comprehensive case study is used throughout the course to facilitate the application of learning. Experienced instructors who are all PMP qualified will be on hand to support and coach throughout the course.

Pre-Requisites
