Course programme

The course is designed for beginners who have little or no knowledge of Polish.

The emphasis will be put on practical use of language to develop students' confidence in simple everyday conversations. To provide a framework for such communication students will be exposed to interactive activates, role plays as well as listening and reading materials.

By the end of the course, you should be familiar with Polish pronunciation, basic phrases, fairly extensive vocabulary and simple grammatical structures. Moreover, they will develop an understanding of written official/ non-official texts and formal/ informal conversations.

There will be also time devoted to Polish culture, which is an inseparable part of the language learning.
