Political science at UPF Official University Master's degree

Official master's degree held by the Department of Political Science at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, in Ciutadella Campus in evening hours (from 15 to 20 h.), although full-time is recommended. Researchers will be trained in political science with current analysis techniques and ability to work as a team to join PhD studies, think tanks or political analysis organizations.

The Master of Research in Political Science at UPF develops the skills necessary for professional practice in political institutions, public administration (supranational, national, regional and local), private sector consultants and NGOs. It is primarily aimed at graduates in political and social sciences, legal sciences, humanities and health. All applicants must pass a selection process that requires: good academic record, full-time and C1 level of English language.

The programme assigns 20 credits for completion of the final thesis project, which must be prepared and presented as any scientific publication of the political arena.

About this course

Official European university degree (or a degree in law, engineering, architecture, quantity surveying or a graduate degree). In the case of non-EU degrees: an equivalent degree from an authorised higher-level educational establishment and academic record for the accredited official training including average grade from the original university. The academic areas of the degree should be one of these: Health Sciences, Legal Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities. B2 level of English.
