Course programme

The new Politics MSc provision offered at Canterbury Christ Church University is established upon a firm foundation of research-led teaching, innovative and blended learning methods, expertise-driven insights, as well as a clear commitment to guiding and supporting student development at the postgraduate level. The Politics programmes provide students with the opportunity to gain both comprehensive conceptual knowledge on the prime structures, policies, ideologies and interconnections comprising the structure of contemporary Politics, and an indispensable practical understanding of legal, political, economic and socio-cultural actors comprising the national, regional and international community. The MSc in Politics is currently offered with a specialism in Migration and Minorities Studies, allowing students to gain an especially strong understanding of the international structures, national groupings, community bases and their respective identity and security networks that prompt migratory flows and give rise to minority groupings and issue-areas.
