Course Description:

This course is for staff undertaking and recording inspection and testing of electrical equipment.

The course is now split into two qualifications; please state which you are interested in in any correspondance.

Course Type: Short Course Entry RequirementsEntry Requirements:

There are no formal Entry Requirements for this course although for those not in an electrical based occupation, we offer a one day basic electrical theory course which will need to be completed prior enrolment on the 2377 course.

Progression & AssessmentAssessment and Progression:

On completion of the course, the candidate must complete a practical assessment and an external City & Guilds examination (2377–11 and 2377-12 multiple choice on-line exam).

If successful the candidate will be awarded the above certificate/s.

A copy of IEE Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment will be included in the course

Duration & LocationDuration:
  • 1 day course, approximately 8 hours for the Management of Electrical Equipment.
  • 1 day course, approximately 8 hours for the Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
