Course description: This course is for power tool operators and employers of the above - managers and supervisors. Course includes identifying legislation affecting equipment use, identifying appropriate PPE for equipment use, operation of equipment, including limitations. Dealing with equipment faults/failure. Pre-use inspection and power tool checks. Attachments, wear parts and consumables for power tools-identification, installation and use. Hand Arm Vibration information, regular maintenance and storage requirements. Course assessment and review.

Suitable for: This course fulfils the employer's duty of care under the Health and Safety at Work Act. It can be tailored to your company, training delegates on the safe use of their work tools. This course is most effective when combined with Coaching Skills/Effective Toolbox Talks training, so that your competent staff may train others.

Course qualification: Brandon training certificate with ID card
