The HABC Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Providing security Services aims to provide a broad knowledge of the security industry. The main area covered is Security Guarding and Door Supervision.
The optional units cover a wide range of subjects that learners will find useful in a variety of roles particularly in providing potential progression routes to supervisory roles or enhancing their current role with skills in setting and meeting targets or solving work related problems.
What are the benefits of this qualification to the learner and employer?
This qualification is made up of units which form part of the SIA Licence to Practice qualifications. Successful completion will allow individual to apply for a Licence to Practice dependant on proof of ID and CRB checks. The qualification is assessed by a combination of internally assessed portfolio and externally set and assessed multiple choice questions which have been set by Skills for Security.

What is the qualification structure for the HABC Level 2 Certificate in Principle of Providing Security Services (QCF)?
To achieve this qualification a learner must achieve an overall credit value of 15 credits. Learners must complete:

· Conflict Management for the Private Security Industry (1 credit)
· Solving Work-Related Problems (2 credits)
· Building Working Relationships with Customers (2 credits)
