Who is it for ?
Anyone interested in improving their lighting knowledge and technique for corporate and broadcast television. This will include trainee camera operators, camera assistants, multi-skilled personnel requiring a broad base of lighting, and those involved with under-graduate studies in media and production

Aims of the course
To provide delegates with the knowledge and confidence required to obtain quality pictures on professional camcorders, in studio and on location

Structure of the course
'Hands-on' practical workshops covering the following areas:
- basic portraiture
- basic studio lighting equipment and method
- basic location lighting equipment and method
- understanding manual control of exposure, white balance and use of filters
- risk assessment and professional safe working practice

this course includes studio lighting practice related to multi-camera production

Course outcome
Delegates will leave the course having gained a good level of lighting knowledge and method applicable to shooting in both studio and location environments
