INTRODUCTORY ECONOMICS WITH JUSTICE

Can viewing economics as a human study – through the prism of justice, fairness and natural law – help us better understand our world?

Economics with Justice seeks to show that freedom and prosperity are possible for people everywhere, providing we follow economic laws and aim for a fair outcome from economic arrangements. No previous knowledge is needed but bring your own ideas and your own experiences to be discussed in 10 lively interactive non-academic group meetings, held weekly. The price is for all 10 evenings.

Course programme

ECONOMICS WITH JUSTICE

A tutor presents material, and leads a discussion based on what arises. Being practical rather than academic, the emphasis is on personal knowledge. Students are encouraged neither to accept nor reject the ideas put forward, but to consider them in the light of their own experience.

Stimulating discussion arises from open ended questions in this tried and well proven course.

There is a handout at the end of each evening to remind you of key points.
