Course programme

This Pre-Hospital Thrombolysis course has been developed in accordance with national targets in mind. It is aimed at clinicians who may encounter a STMEI patient with extended journey times or who are not within a catchment areas of PPCI. Typical students include paramedics, nurses and offshore medics.

“If it is judged that local circumstances make it impossible to reduce ‘call-to-door’ times to less than 30 minutes, other models of care e.g. Out-of-hospital administration on thrombolysis, must be considered”
