This course is designed for Massage Therapists who wish to progress to undertaking Prenatal Massage using approved techniques. This treatment is becoming ever more popular with women who want some relief from the common symptoms associated with pregnancy, including Back Ache, Stress and Tension. At the end of this course you will be able to provide a professional prenatal massage with confidence following safe procedures. Suitable for: Anyone who current holds a recognised massage certificate and wishes to expand skills to include a recognised pregnancy massage certificate

About this course

All candidates will undertake a full prenatal massage and where possible the academy will supply a suitable recipient. We also welcome candiates wishing to bring their own models who are outside the 1st Trimester.

Candiates will also be exected to complete a theory exam to ensure that they fully understand the processes associated with giving a professional treatment.

This course is designed for Massage Therapists who wish to progress to undertaking Prenatal Massage using approved techniques. This treatment is becoming ever more popular with women who want some relief from the common symptoms associated with pregnancy, including Back Ache, Stress and Tension. This is a fully accredited separate course as is now required due to recent changes within the industry. This course meets the guidelines about pressure and limiting massage to areas considered safe which have been introduced in 2010/2011.
