CONVERSION TO PRACTITIONER
OVERVIEW
The Practitioner Examination Preparation event provides an opportunity to apply learning of the PRINCE2® methodology to a real-life derived scenario. The scenario is in a similar format to that used in the APM Group Practitioner Exam and will be used to test the thorough understanding of the application of PRINCE2®. The Foundation Exam tests knowledge of the method itself, and this must be passed in order to progress onto the Practitioner course.
The objective of this course is primarily to apply previous learning of the method to various scenario situations - new learning of the method should not be expected. However the event provides an opportunity to review the method through a series of short refresher sessions and the course lecturer will be on-hand to provide feedback and guidance on practice questions and answer any questions about the method.
To get you started we will send a set of pre-course reading documents that will include a full practitioner paper. This will give you an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the objective examination approach.
DESIGNED FOR
The Examination Preparation Event is designed for anyone who has already taken and passed the Foundation Exam and wishes to receive advice and guidance in preparation for taking the APM Group Practitioner Examination. The event is designed to broaden delegates understanding to a level consistent with the practitioner syllabus.
DOCUMENTATION
All other documentation including the PRINCE2® Manual and Online Event Prep login details should be brought to the event by the delegate. If required the delegate may purchase a Managing Successful Projects PRINCE2 09 manual from TCMC.
