PRINCE2 Foundation
The Foundation course delivers a significant amount of knowledge and understanding of how the processes, components and techniques all work together to achieve the successful delivery of a Prince2 project. Delegates will be given a sufficient level of knowledge to be able to pass the examination leading to the award of the Prince2 Foundation Certificate. The Foundation examination is a 1-hour, multiple choice paper, designed to test the delegate's knowledge of the terminology in PRINCE2.

FOUNDATION EXAMINATION
Pre-Course Requirements
There are no pre-requisites in terms of project management experience. Prior to the course, each delegate will be sent the Prince2 manual, suggested pre-course work and a reading list, in order that they become familiar with the Prince2 concepts. It is essential to the successful delivery of this course that the pre-course work is completed. A large proportion of this pre-course work may be omitted where the delegate has attended the Prince2 Overview course.
Who should attend?
Project Managers, Project Consultants, Project Planners, Project Estimators, Resource Managers, Team Managers, Supervisors, Project Support Staff, Project Assurance Staff or anyone requiring more than a basic knowledge of Prince2
Examination
The examination is of 75 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 1 hour, taken at the end of the third day and provides a specific and measurable assessment of the skills gained.
Delegates should be aware that some evening study will be required on days one and two, in order to assist in the successful completion of the examination.

For those wishing to consolidate the Foundation concepts, the choice is between sitting the 5-day Practitioner course, or one of the two variants of the Conversion course. Where delegates have had a significant amount of time since attending the Foundation course, or require a full refresher, or attended the older version of the Foundation (pre-October 2005), then the 5 day Practitioner may prove to be the wiser investment.
For those preparing for the Practitioner examination, where a quick reminder of the method and practise in the exam technique is all that is required, then the 2 day Conversion course is available. The 2 day Conversion course is also suitable for delegates re-sitting the examination or renewing their qualifications. Where clients feel that something in between these two extremes is more appropriate, the 3 day Conversion course is available for Closed Courses only.
PRINCE2 has been designed as a project management method for use on any type of project.
This course is delivered at our Leeds, Liverpool, Leyland (Preston), Manchester, Nottingham, Sheffield and London venues.
