Content

FdA graduates must be experienced in production and demonstrate competence to an appropriate level in a live events or television context to enter the Honours-level year. Your suitability will be explored at interview and through the submission of a portfolio, showreel or other artefacts.

This course gives you the opportunity to develop conceptual skills and theoretical knowledge across either of two pathway options:

  • Design for Production
  • Production Event Manager/Creative Project Director

Major Projects will allow all students to collaborate and share their skills and knowledge.

The theoretical aspects of the Honours-level work will be explored through a dissertation or equivalent, encouraging you to investigate future industry developments and to support your personal professional direction.

Successful applicants will need to demonstrate their willingness and readiness to undertake extended academic writing. This work is supported by a bridging unit in the summer prior to enrolment and by the LCC Study Support Department.

Students can expect to develop their practice work within an understanding of its theoretical and industrial context.
