I was looking for a career change and had no prior experience in the accounting field. After looking at various courses and training providers I decided to go with the Accounting Technician Diploma provided by Pitman Training, as it also covered the content for AAT Level 2. The audio based material meant I could learn at my own pace, and the presence of a tutor provided the advantage of classroom learning. The flexibility offered by this course suited my circumstances, and the tutors were always available and willing to answer any questions I had regarding the subject matter. Having gained both the Pitman Diploma and AAT Level 2 certificate, I am currently on a work placement to gain experience and apply what I have learnt. I believe this will provide me with a solid foundation on which to build a career in Accounting.
I would sincerely like to thank all the staff at Pitman Training Wembley for their assistance and kind support given throughout the course, and would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to improve their skills and knowledge.

The Advanced Diploma in Accounting with AAT Foundation provides top level professional finance training for anyone wanting a career as an Accountant, Bookkeeper or Finance Professional. If you study this diploma you will also have the opportunity to gain an AAT (The Association of Accounting Technicians) Foundation Certificate in Accounting and the AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting; both valuable qualifications for anyone aspiring to work in finance.
This training is suitable for complete beginners to accounting. Through a comprehensive range of core subjects such as Final Accounts Preparation, Elements of Costing, Advanced Bookkeeping and Sage 50 Accounts, you’ll gain essential, practical accounts processing understanding and ability. You’ll work through each course step-by-step at your own pace to gain the knowledge required to work confidently in an accounting role.
With this Diploma you’ll also be given your own access to MyAAT. This is a comprehensive and valuable online student resource that all AAT students are provided with to assist their studies and helps prepare you for the qualification examinations.
