About this course


By the end of the session, you'll be able to:

Identify the objectives of the presentation, the intended audience and any constraints such as timing or location
Plan presentations, including logistics, style, structure, content and media
Prepare presentations using standard software and non IT methods
Prepare your location, equipment and materials
Deliver presentations effectively, adapting to circumstances as relevant
Respond appropriately to questions
Review your performance, and develop your presentation skills accordingly

  • Use of standard computer software, such as Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Evaluation techniques (self and others) and performance improvement.
