Exam Details
Throughout the course manuals you will find exercises and multiple-choice questions to complete which will help you understand the knowledge element of the course, these are for your own use and do not need to be submitted to the college for marking
Upon completion of each manual you will be required to submit a comprehensive tutor marked assignment, based on the information and knowledge skills provided. One tutor marked assignment for each manual.
Students must pass each assignment with at least a mark of 65% (pass) to obtain the Certificate.

Project management - Basics:
This manual introduces the basic concepts of project management and covers in detail the following topics:
Unit 1: Fundamentals of project management
Unit 2: Characteristics of a project
Unit 3: Project initiation and scope planning
Unit 4: Scope definition, verification and change control
Unit 5: Time management
Unit 6: Schedule development and control
Unit 7: Resource identification and cost approximation
Unit 8: Budgeting and cost control

Project management - Intermediate:
This manual deals with the next essential aspects of project management and starts to build the students knowledge base by covering the following topics:
Unit 1: Quality management
Unit 2: Quality assurance and control
Unit 3: Risk identification and management
Unit 4: Risk analysis, response and control
Unit 5: Organisational planning
Unit 6: Staff acquisition and team building
Unit 7: Planning and distributing information
Unit 8: Project performance and conclusion

Project management - Advanced
The final stage of the course is the advanced section which attempts to capsulate the whole project concept and outcome. This manual covers the following topics:
Unit 1: Procurement planning
Unit 2: Planning, soliciting and selecting
Unit 3: Contract administration and closeout
Unit 4: Project integration and plan development
Unit 5: Implementing plans and controlling change
Unit 6: The project management process
Unit 7: Execution, control, and project closeout.
