Overview
A project is defined as a specific, time limited, discrete piece of work with readily measurable outcomes. The workshop deals specifically with managing this type of work rather than general workload management. This programme will be of particular benefit to those managing a project currently or in the near future.
This one day course is designed for managers of small projects, who wish to learn the techniques for planning, scheduling and monitoring their project, and how to lead the staff who will carry it out. It is designed as a workshop, using planning models that can be applied to the participants' own 'live' projects.

How to write an action plan and anticipate likely problems

Who should attend
This workshop is primarily aimed at those new to project management who are responsible for delivering a result within time or budgetary restraints, but the workshop would also be extremely valuable for a whole project team, who can do much of their planning during the day itself.
