Psycholinguistics in the Assessment and Treatment of Children with Hearing Impairment
Purpose:
To up-date Speech and Language Therapists who specialize in work with children who are hearing impaired on the most recent evidence base around use of the psycholinguistic model in assessment and treatment and to further build on skills in this area through case study presentations and discussion.
Learning Outcomes:
To facilitate SLTs specializing in hearing impairment to use the psycholinguistic model more effectively in practice.
- Up-date on recent evidence base around use of the psycholinguistic model for children with hearing impairment.
- Team/individual presentations on case studies and learning around use of the psycholinguistic model in assessment and treatment and discussion/learning around this.
- Question/answer session.
