A minimum 2:2 classification degree in a subject area other than Psychology and GCSE grade ‘C’ passes in English and Mathematics.
If English is not your first language IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any component) or equivalent is the minimum requirement.​

Course Information​The MSc in Psychology (conversion) is specifically designed for graduates with a minimum 2:2 classification degree in a subject area other than Psychology, wishing to become practicing Psychologists.  Part-time study is not available for international students on a Tier 4 Student Visa.  Accredited by British Psychological SocietyThis degree is accredited by the British Psychological Society(BPS) as conferring eligibility for Graduate Membership of the Society with the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership, provided the minimum standard of qualification of a secondclass honours is achieved. This is the first step to becoming aChartered Psychologist.​ This accreditation is important as it is a benchmark of quality, as defined by psychologists. GBC is an entry requirement for many BPS accredited postgraduate training courses, for example: Clinical, Forensic, Counselling, Educational, Occupational or Sport Psychology, one of the routes to becoming a practitioner as, for example, a Clinical Psychologist, a Forensic Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Occupational Psychologist or a Sport Psychologist. These specialisms form part of the route to becoming a Chartered Psychologist (C. Psychol.).​
