The AS and A level courses provide a general introduction to psychology; a recognised science subject. You will develop knowledge, understanding and skills of analysis and evaluation in relation to a variety of topics within psychology. Both courses also consider how psychologists conduct research and analyse their data. You will be involved in conducting practical investigations, analysing statistical data and writing scientific reports. In addition, you will examine different psychological approaches, current debates within psychology and the application of scientific method in this subject.
